The participants also included observers from Japanese Ministry of Finance as well as from the Chinese Embassy in Japan. Regarding the economic cooperation between Japan and China in the East Asia, while there could be different levels of discussion, we designed this workshop as a second track and non-governmental one, focusing on the cooperation on the financial fields. The several speakers presented their opinions from various points of view and we had discussion in the question and answer sessions. We gained many new understandings through the workshop, and shared dinner time for deepening of intellectual exchange in the future as well.
